Segway RMP 220

A powerful self-balancing robot, the Segway RMP 220 can reach a maximum velocity of 8.0 m/s (18 mph) and a peak torque of 100 N-m per wheel. This incredibly fast, reliable machine also has the ability to function as passively stable with higher payload capabilities over the RMP 210.

Self Balancing with Zero Turn Radius

The RMP 220 operates just like the Segway PT, leaning in the direction of travel. It can be quick and nimble or slow and methodical, to suit your specific application. And its zero-turn radius means it can turn around anywhere.

With a maximum velocity of 8.0 m/s (18 mph) and a peak torque of 100 N-m per wheel, the RMP 220 is capable of moving incredibly fast. This means there’s plenty of headroom to perform flawlessly with payloads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) balancing and 90 kg (200 lbs) non-balancing.

You can control how the RMP responds to commands to ensure movement is smooth and controlled. In addition, you can limit the amount of feedback provided so you only see the variables that matter to you.

The RMP 220 has two lithium-ion batteries which provide a runtime of ~8 hours of operation or ~24 hours in standby. The RMP 220 also features a maximum velocity of 8.0 m/s (18 mph) and a peak torque of 100 N-m per wheel, allowing the unit to move incredibly fast. Feedback is provided at up 100 Hz and commands can be sent via Ethernet, USB or CAN bus. The performance characteristics and amount of feedback are configurable, meaning you can control how the RMP responds to commands to ensure movement is smooth and controlled.
